To get from Bucharest Otopeni airport to the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science:

1. Via the express bus 783 to "Piata Universitatii" stop. The departing bus stop is on the ground floor of the arrivals terminal. You must purchase there a magnetic "wallet" card and charge it with 2 trips, for a total cost of around 10-15 lei. You must validate your trip once in the bus, by sticking your card against one of the orange readers. One high pitch noise indicates successful validation, an unpleasant noise with a red blink means that you must repeat the procedure. Unless you press the "2" button there is no risk of being charged twice.

2. By taxi (recommended). The address is "strada Academiei 14". To order a taxi, use the touch-screen terminals located after exiting the baggage claim area. Choose a taxi company (most of them cost either 1,39 or 1,40 lei/km, avoid the more expensive ones). Keep the paper stub with the car plate, which is a natural number between 3-5 digits engraved on the side of the cab. You will be picked up in a few minutes outside the terminal. The fare will be around 30 lei, you may leave a 5 lei tip.

The conference dinner will be held at the "Casa Universitarilor" Restaurant on Wednesday, September 10th at 19:30. The restaurant is located in the vicinity of the University at 46, Dionisie Lupu street. Here is a map of the neighborhood.

All the invited speakers will be accommodated free of charge in the University Guest House (Hotel Academica). The address of the hotel is "Facultatea de Drept, Bulevardul Mihail Kogalniceanu 36-46". Here is a map of the neighborhood.

To get from Bucharest Otopeni airport to the University Guest House:

1. Hire a taxi (fare around 30 lei).

2. Take bus 783 to Universitatii square as above, then either walk, or ride any electric trolley-bus westbound for two stops until "Kogalniceanu" square. The fare is 1,30 lei and must be paid using the same electronic wallet used for the express bus, so anticipate this when charging the wallet. Do not forget to validate your trip.

We have negotiated accommodation for conference participants in the Hotel Bucharest Comfort Suites****, located in the vicinity of the University. The address of the hotel is "Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu No.16". Here is a map of the neighborhood.

Each participant makes his/her hotel reservations and pays the accommodation individually. To get the preferred rates of:

45 EURO/night for SINGLE room (Breakfast included)

55 EURO/night for DOUBLE room (Breakfast included)
